Set up Recurring Invoices to Lock in Preferred Rates

June is that rare moment when you actually have space to think. The filings are done, clients are relatively settled, and there's still time to make meaningful changes before the second half picks up. This month, we're covering smarter invoicing, faster payments, and three events that are worth your time.

Feature spotlight: Recurring invoices

If you invoice clients on a retainer or monthly fee, you're probably recreating the same invoice every single time. Set it up once in Forwardly, and it goes out automatically on the right date. Getting started is easy for your firm or for any of your clients invoicing their own customers.

No missed invoices, no late invoicing, no manual follow-up. Cash flow stays predictable, clients get consistency, and your team gets time back.

Set up a recurring invoice before June 30th to lock in our special discounted rates for one year, including instant payments for only $1-5 per transaction.

Worth reading: what to automate with AI vs. what still needs you

Forwardly CEO Nick Chandi cuts through the noise on AI in accounting. The short version: high-volume, rule-based work like invoice coding and reconciliations is an obvious first target. Strategic decisions and client relationships stay firmly in your hands.

It's a 7-minute read and a useful reference for any conversation you're having with clients about where this is all heading.

Four things your clients can do right now to get paid 5x faster

Late payments are rarely about bad clients. They're usually about friction. Small fixes here tend to have an outsized effect.

  1. Send invoices the same day the work is done. The longer the gap, the lower the urgency on the client's end.

  2. Offer instant bank transfer as a payment option. Clients who can pay in two clicks do. Standard ACH and check introduce friction that delays settlement by days.

  3. Make the due date obvious. "Net 30" buries the actual date. "Due July 10" doesn't.

  4. Set up automatic payments for repeat customers. Waiting on a client to manually pay every invoice is the slowest part of the process. Automatic payments take it off the table entirely.

Forwardly handles all of this automatically. If a client is still chasing payments manually, it's worth a conversation.
